There are a lot of things changing as technology advances. When it comes to signs and information distribution, there are more ways to get your message out now than ever before. What is a multimedia sign? You have more than likely seen then is stores and businesses. The sign is really a large computer monitor with a video and playing on it. Sometimes they are still images in a slideshow, other times they are videos. Another great option you can offer people is interactive maps of your business. If it is spread out and people have to travel around different part s of the business regularly, an interactive map on a tablet that updates as they move around the building could be very helpful. In places like shopping centers, an interactive map might allow you to tap on a store and get directions to it, get coupon codes, allow you to set up an appointment, or get directions to the store or business from your current location.

Digital Billboards And Scrolling Signs

The idea of the roadside billboard is even being brought up with the addition of digital billboards that contain information that is constantly changing. Sometimes the entire add changes and the board can contain more than just one sign on the billboard. Other times the board may be a more traditional design that has a scrolling sign attached with changing messages that can add additional information like a sale, or a fuel price at a gas station along the road. As technology continues to advance, more and more of it is being applied to information distribution and who knows how far it will go in the future.
